Frisco, The City, SF, San Fran, Sucker Free City, The 415, San Francisco, or simply “Home.” These are the many names of this beautiful city, the one that is the beacon of freedom to many people around the world. When you mention America, the first thing that comes to mind is San Francisco, or better yet, the Golden Gate Bridge. I have lived in this city of adventure for the last 19 years, born and raised in the Richmond district and Western Addition. As I have lived in the city for 19 years, I thought I saw everything that the city had to offer. I grew apathetic to it as my hobbies became repetitive. Ever since I moved to college, I grew more and more homesick and reminiscing about my beautiful city. Today was the true eye opener for me, as I sat there watching the most well known bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge light up in fireworks and spotlights, I have once again experience what makes this city so amazing, I have once again understood why others believe that this small city is the capital of the nation, I have once again found this city intriguing. I have once again fallen in love with this city that I call home.
